covid-19 Updated Policies

  • As social distancing is impossible during direct ophthalmoscopy, we are requiring all patients to have a retinal photo in lieu of dilation.  If the fee for the photo is not covered by your insurance company the fee will be discounted to $39.00 

  • Patients are required to wear face masks during the entirety of the visit.  If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.

  • Please wait for a staff member to greet you before your entry to our office.  If you are waiting for another patient to enter please observe social distancing rules and stay at least 6 feet away.

  • Only scheduled patients will be allowed into the office, no other persons will be admitted unless accompanying a patient under 18 or assisting a disabled patient.

  • All patients are required to consent to a contactless temperatures check.  Patients with elevated temperatures will not be admitted and will be asked to reschedule until they have been symptom free for at least 14 days.

  • All patients are required to wash their hands or hand sanitize upon entry.

  • Patients are required to notify our staff if there has been contact with a person who has tested positive for Covid 19 in the last 14 days, or have experienced any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, shortness of breath, muscle pain or weakness, symptoms of the flu, cough, runny nose, rash, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or any Gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, diarrhea or vomiting within the last 14 days. These patients will not be admitted and will be asked to reschedule until they have been symptom free for at least 14 days.
